Mystical Mushrooms Illustrations

These dreamy little mushroom illustrations are sometimes inspired by actual mushrooms and sometimes curious little creations that sprang from my mind.  Each illustration is first drawn in India ink on watercolor paper, then painted with pigment-based watercolors.  These illustrations are then carefully cut out and glued to black watercolor paper, which is embellished with a white pigment marker.  This creates a layered look with dramatic contrast.  
 
These mushrooms would be fun addition to any room or art wall, especially cute as pairs.   Each illustration is signed and matted, ready to be hung in a 5 by 7 inch frame.  Choose from six different styles - more will be released in another shop update.
